Nobody is safe from reddit mods
I know this is beating a dead horse now, but I always thought reddit was a piece of shit platform.
It's full of smug folks who act like they're smart and always have the right pinion to everything, theyre a circlejerk basiclly. Redditors are so insufferable I hope to never meet them outside of their containment website.
This brings me to today. Reddit went from smug dipshits being insufferable to smug political dipshits who are being insufferable.
I only ever visited furry and fetish-related subreddits, but even there I'd notice something that didn't belong, left-wing political propaganda, #killtrump that sort of thing. Not always thankfully, but too often where that bothers me.
I hate this shit even if Trump is a douchebag. Go to streets and protest, but don't ruin my day with your half-assed internetivism.
You wonder why you guys are getting so much push back from centrists who let this orange creature do whatever, then I'll tell you, it's becaus of your shoehorning politics into everything and encouraging violence as if we didn't have enough of it already.
Anyway, back on topic. It seems even leftists can't be themselves anymore on this social media.
This is crazy to me since I always believed that reddit gave them preferencial treatment (and tbf nazis can go fuck themselves, that's something even if tankies are not getting hit), but no if somebody is a leftist they can still get unfairly banned from subreddits or reddit as a whole for nno reason.
He was banned from r/marxism btw, I should've taken a better screenshot, but anyhow that ain't really what's the most important tidbit, this is the top of the iceberg in this reddit-styled censorship.
Under this post folks are bringing up stories where they got banned from subs over silly things like participating in another sub, for example r/ak47 banned anybody who posted to a leftist pro-guns rights to arm activism subreddit.
Why?!
This ain't new, it was always a problem to my knowledge. Folks even ran bots to find people to ban just for posting into another subreddit.
Why is reddit so fucking anal-backward? I've never seen something like this in any other online community I've ever lurked. Discord doesn't have that problem, facebook doesn't have that problem. It's only reddit!
Only thing close to that are platforms like twitter that run algorithms to moderate the content instead of hiring real people.
Fuck this is why I've given up on mainstream media, it's shit, all of it is shit, we're swimming in it.
I just feel happier I don't use reddit and only lurk it. You can try looking up my aliases, you'll get Sorry, nobody on Reddit goes by that name.
and if after the date I posted this blog you find an account, that's not me it's an impersonation.
Nothing good comes from reddit, fuck reddit!
